Mr. Peter Gitonga Murang’a is a Senior Principal Prosecution Counsel working for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, Kenya. He has 13 years’ experience, of which 7 years are as a prosecutor and 5 years working as a researcher and advocacy officer for various civil society organizations. He acquired his LL.B degree from the University of Nairobi and his post-graduate diploma in law from the Kenya School of Law.

He has since acquired multiple short course certificates related to Human Rights, Anti-money laundering, Asset Recovery, Communication and Management and considers himself versatile and able to undertake multiple roles. He has a passion for advocacy work and has an interest in using digital platforms as a means to amplify information.
